Marcia C. Inhorn, PhD, MPH, is the William K. Lanman, Jr. Professor of Anthropology and International Affairs at Yale University and a world-renowned expert on fertility, reproductive technologies, and women’s health. For more than 35 years, she has researched infertility and assisted reproduction around the world and is the award-winning author of numerous books, including Motherhood on Ice: The Mating Gap and Why Women Freeze Their Eggs, which draws on interviews with more than 150 women to challenge common myths about why women choose to freeze their eggs.
