WHY QUIET THE CLOCK?

When thinking about what to name this podcast, to give justice to all the topics, emotions, narratives that we are talking about and bringing to life, I thought back to the countless conversations with the women who have shared with me. And there was one reoccurring theme: TIME! 

In some form or another, the pressure of time came up. Feeling like they were running out of time, not wanting to waste time, feeling like they did not have enough time and so much more around time! So, we came up with Quiet the Clock. The idea is to quiet all the noise, the narratives, the pressures to be somewhere at a certain time or age, quiet the judgement and comparison. And when you can quiet all the noise around time you can actually start to live more fully.

WHO IS THIS PODCAST FOR?

Anyone who is feeling the pressure of milestones, anyone that is feeling left behind or or feels like they are running out of time, anyone who wants to learn to embrace their life as it is, see the beauty in it and be less focused on what you don’t have yet. Anyone that wants to quiet the noise of external and internal pressure and get really clear on what they actually want! Anyone that is not sure that certain milestones are actually for them. Anyone that wants to feel supported and empowered and proud of their unique journey.

My hope is that we can celebrate and normalize paths that look different. That together with our stories we can dismantle outdated societal expectations and milestones and we can take the pressure off our ourselves! We can enjoy our lives just as they are, replacing judgement and comparison, with joy and self-compassion! Join me on this journey to Quiet the Clock!!
